  • Visually stunning
  • Memorable flavor combination

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp high-quality matcha powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp gelatin powder
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 cup homemade salted caramel sauce
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Мethod of preparation

Begin by blooming the gelatin in water. Heat the heavy cream and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and whisk in the matcha powder until smooth. Add the bloomed gelatin to the matcha mixture and stir until fully dissolved. Pour half of the mixture into serving glasses, leaving space for a layer of caramel. Allow to set in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Warm the salted caramel sauce and add a layer over the set matcha mousse. Let chill until the caramel sets. Top with the remaining matcha mixture and a sprinkle of sea salt. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving. Chill until ready to serve, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
